  • +What is HeadBlade?

    Wow! You don’t beat around the bush. We love that. Quite simply, HeadBlade is a razor and company built upon one mission: to make shaving easier. HeadBlade, the razor and the company, has been around for over a decade. What started out as a simple razor designed for the head has evolved into a complete lineup of men’s headcare and grooming accessories.

    The HeadBlade razor is based on the simple idea of making your finger the handle and using a car-like suspension for a nick-free shave. With the HeadBlade your palm and fingers stay in contact with your scalp at all times, allowing you to shave by feel (this is especially helpful on the back of your head, no mirror required).

    Shaving with a HeadBlade is faster, easier, and just-plain-better than a traditional stick razor. Our newest design, the HeadBlade ATX, is also great for face, body and leg shaving. Ta-Da!

  • +Which HeadBlade should I buy?

    If you are new to HeadBlade, we highly recommend the HeadBlade ATX. The ATX combines our patented car-like suspension, fingertip control and HB4 four-blade cartridge for the ultimate head shaving experience. With the ATX there’s no learning curve, so no worries if you’re switching over from a traditional razor handle. You can also use it to shave your face and body!

  • +What is the difference between the S4 Shark and HeadBlade ATX?

    S4 stands for Stainless Steel Signature Series, and is our limited edition luxury line of razors. Functionally the S4 Shark works like the ATX, with a few important differences. The S4 Shark features more aggressive styling and comes with 2 HB6 cartridges (the HeadBlade ATX comes with 1 HB4 cartridge). Since it’s made of high quality stainless steel, the S4 Shark feels heavier and more substantial in the hand. The ultimate HeadBlade experience!

  • +Do you ship outside the USA? Do you ship to APO addresses?

    Outside the U.S.A.

    • We ship to Canada, Europe, Asia and just about anywhere in the world using the United States Postal Service (USPS). Orders under 4 pounds can ship via USPS First Class Mail International service. Orders over 4 pounds must ship via USPS Priority International or Priority Mail Express International service.

      Taxes and duties vary by country. You may be responsible for additional fees not included in the shipping charges. Please research the taxes, duties and fees charged by your country before placing your order.

    APO Addresses

    • We ship to APO/FPO addresses using USPS Priority Mail. Enter APO/FPO in the “City” field, AE/AP in the “State” field. The country should be “United States”, the service should be domestic USPS Priority Mail.

  • +What is the Ambassador Program? How long does it take to be approved?

  • +How do you calculate shipping costs?

    Shipping costs are calculated in real-time through the USPS and UPS websites. We charge our cost plus a $1 handling fee that covers the cost of the box and shipping materials used to pack the order.

  • +What is your return/exchange policy?

    We offer a 30 day no-questions-asked satisfaction guarantee. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please contact us to arrange a return or exchange. Please note we are unable to offer return labels for returns/exchanges, and cannot refund shipping charges.

    We accept payment via PayPal or credit card. Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover are all gladly accepted.

  • +How long does it take for delivery?

    • All orders are shipped from HeadBlade headquarters in Los Angeles, California. Orders are generally shipped on the next business day, and delivered in 2-5 business days.

      Need it faster? We also offer Next Day, 2-Day and 3-Day Select service via UPS. Orders placed with Next Day, 2-Day or 3-Day Select will be shipped the same business day if order is made before 2:00PM PST.

    • International delivery times vary by location, mail service and customs. Typical delivery time is 10-15 business days.

Product Questions

  • +How long do the blades last?

    Blade life depends on your hair type/thickness, length, and how often you shave. Our HB3 blades should last 4-5 shaves per cartridge. The HB4 and HB6 blades should last 6-10 shaves per cartridge. Remember, these are rough estimates and your mileage will vary.

    To help your blades last longer, we encourage you to wash them clean and allow them to dry. We once talked to a guy who used the same cartridge for 2 months…don’t be that guy. A new blade will always give you the best shave.

  • +How do I change the blades?

  • +What blades can I use?

    ATX

    • The ATX comes standard with our HB4 blade cartridge installed and ready to use. Our HB6 blades also work great on the ATX.

    Sport

    • The HeadBlade Sport comes with our HB3 blade cartridge installed and ready to use. Gillette Atra (double blade only) blades will also fit on the yellow adaptor that comes on the Sport. Gillette Sensor blades can be used with the black Sensor adaptor that comes in the bottom of the HeadBlade Sport package.

  • +I can’t find HB3 blades at retail stores anymore. Can I still buy them?

    Absolutely! With the introduction of the HeadBlade ATX and HB4 blades, most retailers have upgraded from our HB3 blades. We pledge to ALWAYS support the HB3 blades for those HeadBladers not interested in making the switch to the HB4/HB6 blades. In fact, we created the HB3 Power Pack just for you!

  • +What do your headcare products do? How/when do I use them?

    • Pre-Shave

      HeadShed: Prepares your head and face for a great shave by shedding dead skin cells and softening your hair. Apply a nickel-sized amount in your hand, apply to head and scrub with both hands. Rinse well.

    • Shave

      HeadSlick: Ultra-slick mentholated shave cream. Apply a small amount of HeadSlick shave cream to your palm. A little goes a long way…a nickel-sized amount should be enough for your whole head and face. Shave, then rinse clean. Feel the cool menthol tingle. Ahhh.

    • Post-Shave

      ClearHead: Works great to treat and prevent ingrown hairs and razor burn. Apply a dime-sized amount of ClearHead to your hand, rub into scalp. Allow ClearHead to absorb into your skin for 1 minute. Also works great as a spot treatment for ingrown hairs & blemishes!

      HeadLube: Moisture lotion to keep the scalp healthy and protected. Comes in Glossy or Matte. Apply a quarter-sized amount in your hand and rub into scalp. Enjoy the quiet confidence that comes from a complete headcare routine!
