Like many, I started losing my hair in college, right up in the front. Classic case of the receding hairline. Man, I fought it for years… convinced it was all the "gunk" I was using to style it, wearing caps, raging testosterone, you name it. It's a terrible feeling to look down at your fingers after running your hand thru your hair and seeing more fall out every day.
I was ashamed of it. My roommate would occasionally see the top of my head if I were laying on the couch and say "Dude, you're going bald." When online dating I'd use pics from when I just started thinning out… big surprise when we met up for a date. Probably would've gotten more 2nd dates had I just "man-d up" and quit denying reality. "Tumbleweed" is not a good haircut Thank God I didn't go into debt for hair regrowth options.
About 3 years ago I started the buzz cut look… first a #3, then a #1, then no attachment at all. Started feeling much better about my appearance.
Then I saw a Headblade in the drugstore and decided to try it out. I love it. The product and tech is great, the customer service is exceptional in an age where it matters more than ever.
Not all women dig a bald guy, but I guarantee that more love it than a guy in denial. It is all about the attitude. I didn't choose to lose my hair, but I chose to be bald. Now I see myself right up there with Willis, Statham, Diesel, The Rock. If you're going to put yourself out there, put your "best" self out there.
