Barry Siff

Barry Siff is an accomplished endurance athlete and business person. He has completed over 35 marathons – beginning in 1981 - including 5 Boston Marathons, 6 Ironman Triathlons, and adventure races in over 20 different countries around the world.
Barry's passion for adventure racing was ignited as a participant in the 1998 Rocky Mountain Adventure Race. He went on to complete the Raid Gauloises 2000 with Team Outlast (9th place), placed 11th at Eco-Challenge 2000, 16th at MSOQ 2000 (as Team Friction Free) and 8th at Raid Aventura in Patagonia 2000. He raced in dozens of other endurance events during the years, including double marathons and the Leadville Trail 100. In 2006, he returned to triathlons, and in one year completed Ironman races in Japan, New Zealand and Arizona.
Barry has co-authored 2 books: Adventure Racing: The Ultimate Guide and Fit & Fun for Life, and is a regular contributor to several magazines. He co-founded MountainQuest Adventures in 1998, which grew into 5430 Sports in 2004.
